Is it time to check your websites health?

Your website looks professional. The design is clean, the colors match your brand, and you're proud to share the link. Great start but don't overlook the technical side.
- Is your website accessible?
- Do you have an accessibility statement?
- How fast is your website loading?
- Are your images and/or video's optimized?
- Do you know how much CO₂ emissions your website generates?
What could go wrong?
Permalink to “What could go wrong?”- Your site takes more than 3 seconds to load (most visitors leave after 3 seconds)
- That stylish light gray text on white background is nearly impossible to read for people with visual impairments (or even if the suns hits your screen)
- Each page visit generates around 4g of CO₂ emissions - 10 times higher than necessary
- Your contact form can't be navigated using keyboard only, excluding users who can't use a mouse
This isn't uncommon. Many websites that look great on the surface have accessibility barriers, performance issues, or unnecessary environmental impact.
Fixing these issues might seem like a huge undertaking but most of the time a few tweaks could bring your site to the next level and make it compliant.
